Augmented Reality Marketing – Guinness

Submitted by on Wednesday, 12 May 20103 Comments

guinnessGuinness has just completed a campaign in Ireland to promote the Six Nations Rugby Cup. The game featured head tracking augmented reality to create a player avatar that placed the player directly into the game.

It looks awesome. From what I can see, sadly the game was only used in 100 pubs in Ireland during the Rugby so we have lost the chance to try it. Perhaps we’ll see an adaptation for the World Cup next month.
