Mobile Face Recognition

I spoke about mobile augmented reality and how face recognition has evolved beyond the concept stage. The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) based in Sweden are the company that I was referring to.

Take a look at the video below to see how it works.

The application uses Polar Rose’s FaceLib recognition engine, the prototype is working on Android devices but as far as I can see, it hasn’t been released yet.
