If you’re planning a well-earned holiday this summer keep an eye open Thursday for the mTrip augmented reality travel guides. Not only are they great travel guides with augmented reality functionality but the mTrip guys tell me they are running a special discount on Thursday.

The guides are available for both Android and iPhone. The Android guides will be priced at $0.99 while the iPhone version will get free treatment. (Normal price £3.49/$5.99) I’m not sure if all the countries are all in the promotion but I am hoping for the Sao Paulo map. Either way stock up on some AR travel guide goodness.
