Natural Feature Tracking (NFT) solutions are become ever easier to create thanks to some great tools and SDKs that are beginning to appear. The latest to come my way is the IN2AR Flash Library.

Using NFT for augmented reality has the added benefit in that you don’t require an unsightly black and white fiducial marker to be added to your product; instead you can trigger an augmented reality experience based on just about any type of image, for example a Guinness magazine advert.

The example above was created using the IN2AR SDK, if you want to try it yourself take a look here.  You’ll just need a webcam and the Guinness image that you’ll find there. Correction – the Guinness demo was created using the Metaio Viewer SDK
