Augmented Reality For Property And Leisure

Submitted by on Wednesday, 27 June 2012No Comment

ar propertyehouse, a UK creative company that specialises in marketing and design to the property and construction industries are changing the way buyers wiil find property with the help of augmented reality and the humble smartphone.

While most companies dabbling with augmented reality and property go for a geo-location approach where users can discover nearby properties using their camera, ehouse are taking the natural feature tracking route where users can use their smartphone to either learn more about a property by interacting with a brochure or by scanning signage that can be located outside the property. Such information can include videos, pictures, floor plans or practically any other type of advertising medium.

If ehouse have their way, one day soon you’ll be able to use your smartphone to learn more about properties for sale as soon as you see them. No more having to hunt around on RightMove or its US equivalent. It’s good to see a company thinking outside of the box and looking beyond location.

ehouse have a demo application in the AppStore when you can get from here
